The Alfred Resident Doctor's Society (ARDS) in collaboration with the Alfred PREPARE Program (Pre-SET Program At Alfred for Research & Education) will be delivering a GSSE course for junior doctors looking to sit the exam in June or October 2023 and beyond. Speaker content will focus on high yield topics and approaches to questions, while also providing doctors with invaluable tips and tricks.

The GSSE Preparation course will run over one weekend on May 6 to May 7 from 8:30am - 1pm and will cover the following topics:

Introduction to the GSSE:

- Exam Format

- Types of Questions

- How to approach the anatomy section

Pathology:

- General Pathology

- Neoplasia

- Tissue Response to Injury

- Infection

- Pharmacology (Including antibiotics)

Physiology:

- Cardiovascular physiology

- Respiratory physiology

- Gastrointestinal physiology

- Renal Physiology

- Neurophysiology
