The Alfred Resident Doctor's Society (ARDS) presents our upcoming GSSE Workshop for medical students and junior doctors! Speakers (Alfred Consultants and Registrars) will be covering high yield topics and approaches to questions, whilst also providing attendees with invaluable tips and tricks.

The online workshop will run over one weekend on April 27-28th from 8am to 2pm and is ideal for penultimate to final year medical students, interns and HMOs!

This year, we have added ANATOMY to our curriculum and UPDATED the course in conjunction with past attendees who have passed the GSSE and the Alfred Health Surgical Teaching Team.

The following topics will be covered:


Introduction to the GSSE:

- Exam Format
- Types of Questions
- How to approach the different sections


Pathology:

- General Pathology

- Neoplasia
- Tissue Response to Injury
- Infection

Physiology:
- Cardiovascular Physiology
- Respiratory Physiology
- Gastrointestinal Physiology
- Renal Physiology
- Neurophysiology

Anatomy: (NEW to our 2024 Workshop!)
- Thoracic Anatomy
- Pelvic Anatomy
- Upper Limb and Lower Limb Anatomy
